It’s Furniture Friday! This week we are recognizing the Central Baptist College Library located in Conway, Arkansas. This project was furnished by Innerplan account executive Marsha Joyner. The CBC two story library is 16,094 square feet and was completed in December of 2013. The Story Library includes offices for the Library staff, computer workstations, multimedia classrooms, a coffee shop, archives, conference room, private and group study rooms, book stacks, and various lounge areas.
The goal was to have the furniture installed into the building over Christmas break so it would be ready when the students came back for the spring semester. Although the furniture was installed on time, we hit a couple challenges along the way due to snow and ice, slowing the process down. This project had a variety of furniture to accommodate the needs of the multiple areas throughout the space. Innerplan also installed all the bookshelves through out the library, something many people did not know we provided.
